ABOUT THE POSITION

As a project engineer at Sweco, you will be part of a national unit working with water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and pumping stations. Locally, you will belong to a group of nine people based in Skellefteå, Piteå, and Luleå. In your role, you will support project managers in various facility projects within the water and sewage sector. This includes everything from protocol writing, follow-ups with suppliers, planning to site visits at facilities. Sweco's project managers primarily work with municipal water and sewage facilities, both regarding the renovation of existing facilities, design, and construction of new plants with cutting-edge technology.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a completed bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical or biotechnology, environmental and water engineering, or another equivalent technical education
  • Has a B driver's license as travel may be required
  • Can speak and write in Swedish as this is the language used for documentation and communication

It is an advantage if you have experience working in the process industry or another industry.

As a project engineer, we see that you have a strong interest in technology and a desire to learn more. You are willing to take responsibility, are meticulous in your work, and are good at collaborating with others. As a consultant, you will collaborate with many colleagues and also have contact with clients. For the right person, there is an opportunity to combine more administrative tasks with more technical tasks.
